I have been working as a multimedia journalist for KRQE since moving to Albuquerque in October 2012. It has been exciting to take in the beautiful sights and unique culture of New Mexico.
Previously, I worked at WKOW in Madison, Wisconsin where I reported live from the field and produced evening newscasts on the weekend. I covered everything from extreme weather to mass protests at the Capitol and an historic effort to recall the governor.
I am originally from the Los Angeles area, where I graduated magna cum laude with a broadcast journalism degree from the University of Southern California. That is also where I first gained experience in the newsroom as an executive producer, anchor and reporter at USC's Annenberg TV News.
When I’m not working, I enjoy trying great New Mexican restaurants and exploring the state’s many hiking trails. I also love visiting family and friends in California and cheering on my Trojans at sporting events whenever possible.
Feel free to follow me on Twitter and Facebook, and email me if you have any news tips or story ideas.
